The Monte Mayor golf course became an instant legend from the moment it opened in 1989. Spectacularly located and captivatingly beautiful, it inspires the utmost respect and admiration in golfers from around the world. Many of them are drawn back, time and again, in a determined effort to conquer this amazing course. Few succeed, but playing Monte Mayor is an experience no one will ever forget. It is widely acknowledged as one of Europe's premier golfing experiences.

16th Green

Created by the renowned course designer José Gancedo, this golf course is probably unlike any you have ever played before. Nestled in a natural amphitheatre created by the Serrania de Ronda Mountains, the greens have not been shaped by bulldozers, but by the wild Andalusian nature.

Monte Mayor schedules 15 minutes between starting times to ensure fast play-through. Due to the distance and nature of the grounds between the greens and the next tee (click here for distance overview), buggies are mandatory and included in the green fee.
